PBRM1 Deficiency in Microglia Leads to Excessive Neurogenesis and Autism‐Like Behaviors via the CCL5‐CCR1/5‐β‐catenin Signaling Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Microglial PBRM1 deficiency drives excessive hippocampal neurogenesis by enhancing CCL5–CCR1/5 signaling, leading to autism‐like behaviors. A pro‐inflammatory IL1α+/TNFα+ microglial subset is identified as a key cellular contributor to this process. PBRM1 represses Ccl5 expression at the transcriptional level.

Mitochondrial Localization of Cx26 Promotes Colorectal Cancer Malignancy and Exposes a Fatal Vulnerability to Drug Targeting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial localization of Cx26 emerges as a double‐edged sword in colorectal cancer. PIMT‐mediated methylation of Cx26 promotes its mitochondrial localization and stability. Mitochondrial Cx26 then facilitates ER‐mitochondria communication and Ca2+ signaling, thereby promoting metastatic progression. Bortezomib exploits this malignant adaptation by

Sliding Ferroelectric Metals: An Emerging Frontier

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This Perspective highlights recent advances in sliding ferroelectric metals, focusing on the coexistence of switchable polarization and metallicity. Representative nonmagnetic and magnetic systems are discussed, together with Berry‐curvature memory, superconducting switching, triply‐coupled switching, magnetoelectric coupling, and electrically ...

Chiral‐Nematic Lattice Instability in Charge Density Wave of 1T‐TiSe2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The charge density wave of 1T‐TiSe2 appears chiral to surface probes yet loses all symmetry in spectroscopic measurements. This study reveals how cooperative condensation of multiple phonon modes stabilizes a chiral monoclinic ground state, while a shallow nematic energy landscape allows the lattice to break the remaining symmetry at negligible cost ...

Product‐Reshaped Gas‐Phase Hydrodynamics Govern CO2 Electrolysis in Gas Diffusion Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In gas‐fed CO2${\rm CO}_2$ electrolysers, the gas phase is part of the electrochemical response. As gaseous products form, they change gas composition and flow, which in turn affects CO2${\rm CO}_2$ delivery and CO intermediate availability. This feedback changes the reaction environment needed for multicarbon formation, becoming unavoidable as ...
