Corporate Indigenous Stakeholder Engagement in the Sustainability Reporting: Evidence From the Australian Mining Industry

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Given the growing pressure for indigenous stakeholder engagement, this paper explores the extent and nature of indigenous stakeholder engagement disclosures in the sustainability reporting of Australian mining companies. Drawing on stakeholder theory and legitimacy theory, this study explores how large Australian mining companies disclose ...

Boosting Bifacial Output Power of Ag‐CIGS Solar Cells by Optimizing ITO Back‐Contact Thickness for Tandem Applications

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Optimized ITO back contact with pre‐Ga supply growth and Ag incorporation suppresses GaOx formation and interface recombination in bifacial CIGS solar cells. The devices achieve 17.25% front and 5.77% rear efficiency, delivering record bifacial power density up to 32.26 mW cm−2 in 4T perovskite/CIGS tandem architectures under enhanced albedo ...

Association between hemoglobin A1c and abdominal aortic calcification: results from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2013–2014

open access: yesBMC Cardiovascular Disorders
Background Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), a “gold standard” for the assessment of glycemic control, was associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease and coronary artery calcification.

Accelerating Frequency Response Measurements Through Sparse Data‐Driven Reconstruction Using the Loewner Framework

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
Frequency response analysis is vital for electrochemical diagnostics but inherently time‐consuming. By building state‐space models from sparse frequency samples, the Loewner framework accurately reconstructs transfer functions and distribution of relaxation times (DRT), drastically cutting testing time without sacrificing accuracy.

Fhod3 in zebrafish supports myofibril stability during growth of embryonic skeletal muscle

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Actin filament organization in cardiomyocytes critically depends on the formin Fhod3, but a role for Fhod3 in skeletal muscle development has not yet been described. Results We demonstrate here that in zebrafish mutated for one of two fhod3 paralog genes, fhod3a, skeletal muscle of the trunk appears normal through 2 days post ...

Proteomic profiling of Elp1‐deficient trigeminal ganglia reveals disruption of neurotrophic and metabolic pathways in a familial dysautonomia mouse model

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Elp1, a subunit of the Elongator complex, is essential for tRNA modification and neuronal development. Mutations in ELP1 underlie familial dysautonomia (FD), a disorder marked by sensory and autonomic neuropathy. While loss of Elp1 disrupts trigeminal ganglion formation and survival, the downstream molecular consequences remain ...

Analysis of the relationship between abdominal aortic calcification and frailty in the middle-aged and older US population

open access: yesPreventive Medicine Reports
Background and Objective: Abdominal aortic calcification (AAC) is a marker of cardiovascular disease and is associated with increased mortality in middle-aged and older populations.
