Transient Laser‐Induced Periodic Surface Structures Revealed by Time‐Resolved EUV Diffuse Scattering

The study shows that femtosecond laser pulses generate transient, LIPSS‐like surface patterns at fluences far below the damage threshold. Time‐resolved extreme ultraviolet scattering captures reciprocal space features that form within a few picoseconds and vanish on sub‐nanosecond timescales.

Corrosion‐Protection of T122 Steel Using g‐C3N5‐Embedded Epoxy Coatings

Study evaluates g‐C3N5 (CN) reinforced epoxy coatings on T122 steel in NaCl and H2SO4. Electrochemical tests revealed that 2% loading maximizes corrosion resistance by blocking pores and limiting ion diffusion, increasing Rp and Rn. Low‐Hysteresis Cellulose‐Based Hydrogels for Strain Detecting

Macromolecular Rapid Communications, EarlyView.
Low‐hysteresis hydrogel with high cellulose content is prepared. The modified cellulose is prepared through a sequential periodate oxidation and borohydride reduction process. The hydrogel can be used as a strain sensor with a gauge factor of 1.1 in the 0%–300% sensing range.
