Background. The content of phytohormones in potato tubers is mainly studied during their initiation and further growth. Meanwhile, it is of interest to study the dynamics of phytohormones not only in young tubers, but also in maternal (planting) tubers ...

Learner-centered versus teacher-centered dance pedagogy and dance learning and related outcomes: a systematic review

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology
ObjectivesComparative evidence on learner-centered versus teacher-centered dance pedagogy is fragmented. Thus, the aim of this study was to synthesize the effects of learner-centered and more teacher-directed dance pedagogies on dance learning and ...

Stepwise Synthesis of Tetrabenzotriazaporphyrins (TBTAPs) and Their Open 2‐ and 3‐Ring Fragments

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Unexpected reaction pathways to porphyrin‐phthalocyanine hybrids are uncovered by the synthesis of “half‐macrocycle” fragments and subsequent macrocyclization. Rather than the expected 2:2 “ABBA” product, the 3:1 “ABBB” hybrid is isolated as the only macrocyclic product.

Arabidopsis thaliana DOF6 negatively affects germination in non-after ripened seeds and interacts with TCP14

open access: yes, 2011
Seed dormancy prevents seeds from germinating under environmental conditions unfavourable for plant growth and development and constitutes an evolutionary advantage.

ABA plays a central role in mediating them regulatory effects of nitrate on root branching in Arabidopsis

open access: yes, 2001
The formation of lateral roots (LR) is a major post-embryonic developmental event in plants. In Arabidopsis thaliana, LR development is inhibited by high concentrations of NO3-.

High atmospheric pressure rescues plant growth under humidity stress: A model for climate‐resilient deep underground agriculture

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
High atmospheric pressure (120 kPa) in deep underground counteracts humidity‐induced physiological stress in plants, stabilizing water balance and enhancing antioxidative defenses. This synergy boosts biomass despite elevated humidity, demonstrating sustainable deep underground agriculture potential under climate uncertainty.

GLP‐1 Receptor Agonism Exacerbates Activity‐Based Anorexia in Mice

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Glucagon‐like peptide‐1 receptor (GLP‐1R) agonists reduce food intake and body weight, suggesting they should be avoided in anorexia nervosa. However, preclinical evidence that these drugs reduce activity and reward‐seeking behavior raises the possibility that they might attenuate the compulsive‐like hyperactivity central to ABA ...

Maize ZmbZIP92 transcription factor positively regulates drought tolerance in Arabidopsis

open access: yesPlant Signaling & Behavior
Plants are susceptible to various environmental stresses, but basic leucine zipper (bZIP) transcription factors play a key role in regulating stress responses. In this study, a drought response-related candidate gene (ZmbZIP92) was cloned from maize (Zea

Effect of Sequential and Combined Space‐Based Stressors on Perovskite Solar Cell Stability

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
A correlation between loss in performance and mobile ion concentration has been established by sequential stressing of perovskite solar cells under Low Earth Orbit conditions with exposure to protons, light, and thermal cycling. It is shown that the loss in performance increases when ion concentration increases and vice versa.
