Omega‐3 Fatty Acids Supplementation and Neuroprotection, Inflammation, Fatigue, and Physical Activity in Multiple Sclerosis: A Randomized Controlled Trial

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 13, Issue 9, September 2025.
In this randomized, placebo‐controlled trial, ommega‐3 and placebo increased BDNF levels with no significantly change found in BDNF or hs‐CRP serum levels when adjusting for baseline levels. In conclusion, omega‐3 supplementation has no determinate impacts on BDNF levels, fatigue, or physical activity capacity in MS patients.

Spatial Porosity Modeling in the Mixed Siliciclastic-Carbonate Kazhdumi Reservoir in an Iranian oilfield located in Abadan Plain

open access: yesEarth Sciences Research Journal
Spatial porosity modeling is vital in static modeling, as variations in both lateral and vertical dimensions significantly influence reservoir quality and volumetric calculations. This study focuses on the spatial modeling of effective porosity in the mixed siliciclastic and carbonate Kazhdumi reservoir within a section of the Abadan Plain.

Implications of Fracture Networks in Elastic Response of Heterogeneous Carbonate Reservoirs

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 12, Issue 8, August 2025.
Abstract In this research, we explored how various fracture parameters could influence the elastic response of heterogeneous carbonates. Herein, 16 core plugs from a fractured carbonate formation are subjected to a comprehensive analysis including CT‐scanning, optical and electron microscopy, and XRD analysis to identify and characterize open fractures
