Spectral stability for subsonic traveling pulses of the Boussinesq `abc' system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We consider the spectral stability of certain traveling wave solutions of the Boussinesq `abc' system. More precisely, we consider the explicit $sech^2(x)$ like solutions of the form $(\vp(x-w t), \psi(x- w t)=(\vp, const. \vp)$, exhibited by M.

Fermionic T-duality in massive type IIA supergravity on AdS_{10-k} x M_k [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Fermionic T-duality transformation is studied for the N=1 supersymmetric solutions of massive type IIA supergravity with the metric AdS_{10-k} x M_k for k=3 and 5.

Renormalization Group Equation and QCD Coupling Constant in the Presence of SU(3) Chromo-Electric Field

open access: yes, 2009
We solve renormalization group equation in QCD in the presence of SU(3) constant chromo-electric field E^a with arbitrary color index a=1,2,...8 and find that the QCD coupling constant \alpha_s depends on two independent casimir/gauge invariants C_1=[E ...

Mechanisms of parasite‐mediated disruption of brain vessels

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Parasites can affect the blood vessels of the brain, often causing serious neurological problems. This review explains how different parasites interact with and disrupt these vessels, what this means for brain health, and why these processes matter. Understanding these mechanisms may help us develop better ways to prevent or treat brain infections in ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

The Minimal-ABC Trees With ${B}1$ -Branches II

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
The atom-bond connectivity (ABC) index is one of the most investigated degree-based molecular structure descriptors with a variety of chemical applications. For a given graph $G=(V,E)$ , the ABC index is defined as $ABC(G)=\sum _{uv\in E} {(d_{u}+d_{v}-

Comparison between atom-bond connectivity indices of graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The atom-bond connectivity index ABC is a much studied degree-based graph invariant with noteworthy applications in chemistry. Few years ago, a new distance-based variant of this index, ABCGG, was introduced.
