Detection of the acute phase of abdominal angiostrongyliasis with a parasite-specific IgG enzyme linked immunosorbent assay [PDF]

open access: yesMemórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz, 2001
Angiostrongylus costaricensis may cause intestinal lesions of varied severity when it accidentally infects man in Central and South America. First-stage larvae have never been detected in stools. Gastrointestinal Parasites of Zoonotic Importance Detected in Bats in the Conservation Area of Semuliki National Park, Western Uganda

open access: yesJournal of Parasitology Research, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
