This phase III study demonstrated that Alkem's biosimilar teriparatide is noninferior to reference teriparatide in improving bone mineral density at the lumbar spine and femoral neck in postmenopausal osteoporosis patients, with comparable safety, pharmacodynamics, and immunogenicity profiles over 48 weeks of treatment.

Bazi Bushen capsule (BZBS) is an over‐the‐counter drug approved by China FDA with the function of nourishing the kidney, replenishing essence, and combating aging. In this study, we concluded that the PI3K/AKT/eNOS signaling pathway contributed to BZBS repair of endothelial dysfunctions induced by D‐galactose.

Relationship Between Kyphosis and Postoperative Gastroesophageal Reflux After Proximal Gastrectomy

This study examined the relationship between kyphosis and postoperative gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) after proximal gastrectomy using a kyphosis definition that is familiar to surgeons for preoperative assessment. Multivariate analysis revealed that kyphosis is an independent risk factor for GERD after proximal gastrectomy.

Health‐related quality of life following total minimally invasive, hybrid minimally invasive or open oesophagectomy: a population‐based cohort study

All patients operated for oesophageal cancer in Sweden from 2013 to April 2018 were identified, and 246 patients were recruited to this population‐based nationwide Swedish study. The results show that longitudinal health‐related quality of life after minimally invasive oesophagectomy was similar to that of the open surgical approach.
