Cercospora Leaf Spot of Abelia
Mycologia, 1956Abelia (A. grandiflora (Andre) Rehd.) is widely grown as an ornamental shrub in the South. In midsummer, beginning about the middle of June, the leaves become spotted with irregular, diffuse, purple to brown spots. These commonly abscise and fall. New foliage forms on the denuded shoots, and this in turn becomes spotted and abscises, so that, by the ...

Abeliosides A and B, secoiridoid glucosides from Abelia grandiflora
Phytochemistry, 1985Abstract Twp new secoiridoid glucosides, abeliosides A and B, were isolated along with cantleyoside and sylvestroside II from Abelia grandiflora. On the basis of spectral and chemical evidence, these new glucosides were identified as esters of secologanic acid with an iridoid lactone which may arise from loganin. Cantleyoside was also isolated from A.

The article is focused on comparative investigation of some pruning shears (bypass) in terms of cutting forces and design when cutting Abelia branches. Three different by-pastype pruning shears were selected to evaluate. Abelia branches were used as a material in the tests.

Weak asymptotic abelianess for Galilei invariant time evolution
Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2008We extend the result of weak asymptotic abelianess for Galilei invariant time evolution from the tracial state to a set of time-invariant states which are uniformly clustering with respect to space translation.

Phylogeny of the Linnaea clade: Are Abelia and Zabelia closely related?
Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, 2010Phylogenetic investigations based on molecular and morphological data have improved our understanding of Dipsacales phylogeny dramatically over the past 20 years. The Linnaea clade, however, has mostly been neglected and Zabelia has rarely been included in previous studies.

Discovery of Abelia spathulata (Caprifoliaceae) in eastern China
Acta Phytotaxonomica Sinica, 2006Abelia spathulata, a species native to Japan, is discovered in Zhejiang Province, China. It is most closely related to A. chinensis genetically but easily distinguishable by its 2-flowered cyme (vs. flowers many in a terminal panicle in A. chinensis) at the end of branchlets, white or pink (vs. white) corolla, which is 2-3 (vs.
