A tensor product approach to the abstract partial fourier transforms over semi-direct product groups [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2015
In this article, by using a partial on locally compact semi-direct product groups, we present a compatible extension of the Fourier transform. As a consequence, we extend the fundamental theorems of Abelian Fourier transform to non-Abelian case.

A Generalization of Arrow’s Lemma on Extending a Binary Relation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2019
By examining whether the individualistic assumptions used in social choice could be used in the aggregation of individual preferences, Arrow proved a key lemma that generalizes the famous Szpilrajn’s extension theorem and used it to demonstrate the ...

Combinable Extensions of Abelian Groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The design of decision procedures for combinations of theories sharing some arithmetic fragment is a challenging problem in verification. One possible solution is to apply a combination method à la Nelson-Oppen, like the one developed by Ghilardi for unions of non-disjoint theories.

SU(2) hadrons on a quantum computer via a variational approach

open access: yesNature Communications, 2021
Quantum simulations of lattice gauge theories are in principle scalable, but their extension to dynamically coupled matter has proven difficult. In this work, the authors use a variational quantum eigensolver to simulate a non-Abelian LGT including the ...

Norms in finite galois extensions of the rationals

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1990
We show that under certain conditions a rational number is a norm in a given finite Galois extension of the rationals if and only if this number is a local norm at a certain finite number of places in a certain finite abelian extension of the rationals.

Abelian p-extensions and additive polynomials [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics, 2017
In this work, we present some arithmetic properties of families of abelian [Formula: see text]-extensions of global function fields, among which are their generators and their type of ramification and decomposition.

Linear Abelian Modal Logic

open access: yesBulletin of the Section of Logic
A many-valued modal logic, called linear abelian modal logic \(\rm {\mathbf{LK(A)}}\) is introduced as an extension of the abelian modal logic \(\rm \mathbf{K(A)}\). Abelian modal logic \(\rm \mathbf{K(A)}\) is the minimal modal extension of the logic of

Ternary SU(3)-group symmetry and its possible applications in hadron-quark substructure. Towards a new spinor-fermion structure [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2019
The questions on the existence of the three color quark symmetry and three quark-lepton generations could have the origin associated with the new exotic symmetries outside the Cartan-Killing-Lie algebras/groups.

Renormalizable extension of the Abelian Higgs-Kibble model with a dim.6 derivative operator

open access: yesSciPost Physics Proceedings, 2023
We present a new approach to the consistent subtraction of a non power-counting renormalizable extension of the Abelian Higgs-Kibble (HK) model supplemented by a dim. 6 derivative-dependent operator controlled by the parameter $z$.
