The N‐prime graph and the Subgroup Isomorphism Problem
Abstract We introduce a directed graph related to a group G$G$, which we call the N‐prime graph ΓN(G)$\Gamma _{\rm {N}}(G)$ of G$G$ and is a refinement of the classical Gruenberg–Kegel graph. The vertices of ΓN(G)$\Gamma _{\rm {N}}(G)$ are the primes p$p$ such that G$G$ has an element of order p$p$, and, for distinct vertices p$p$ and q$q$, the arc q→p$

On affine motions with one-dimensional orbits in common spaces of paths
The concept of a common path space was introduced by J. Duqlas. M. S. Knebelman was the first to consider affine and projective movements in these spaces. The general path space is a generalization of the space of affine connectivity.

Automorphism groups of P1$\mathbb {P}^1$‐bundles over geometrically ruled surfaces
Abstract We classify the pairs (X,π)$(X,\pi)$, where π:X→S$\pi \colon X\rightarrow S$ is a P1$\mathbb {P}^1$‐bundle over a non‐rational geometrically ruled surface S$S$ and Aut∘(X)$\mathrm{Aut}^\circ (X)$ is relatively maximal, that is, maximal with respect to the inclusion in the group Bir(X/S)$\mathrm{Bir}(X/S)$.

Laughlin-like States in Bosonic and Fermionic Atomic Synthetic Ladders
The combination of interactions and static gauge fields plays a pivotal role in our understanding of strongly correlated quantum matter. Cold atomic gases endowed with a synthetic dimension are emerging as an ideal platform to experimentally address this

Generalized free wreath products and their operator algebras
Abstract We develop a new approach on free wreath products, generalizing the constructions of Bichon and of Fima‐Pittau. We show stability properties for certain approximation properties such as exactness, Haagerup property, hyperlinearity, and K‐amenability. We study qualitative properties of the associated von Neumann algebra: factoriality, primeness,

Primitivity testing in free group algebras via duality
Abstract Let K$K$ be a field and F$F$ a free group. By a classical result of Cohn and Lewin, the free group algebra KF$K\left[F\right]$ is a free ideal ring (FIR): a ring over which the submodules of free modules are themselves free, and of a well‐defined rank. Given a finitely generated right ideal I⩽KF$I\leqslant K\left[F\right]$ and an element f∈I$f\

In this thesis, the main goal is to investigate the basic structures of finite abelian groups, finitely generated abelian groups, and finitely generated modules over principal ideal domains. We characterize finite abelian groups up to isomorphism.

Local Rings with Elementary Abelian Units
In [2] the structure of all semiperfect rings with abelian group of units has been obtained in terms of commutative local rings. It follows easily that the structure of semiperfect rings with elementary abelian group of units is determined by commutative

Abelian Ideals of Maximal Dimension for Solvable Lie Algebras
We compare the maximal dimension of abelian subalgebras and the maximal dimension of abelian ideals for finite-dimensional Lie algebras. We show that these dimensions coincide for solvable Lie algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero.
