The non-abelian tensor and exterior products of crossed modules of Lie superalgebras

Journal of Algebra and its Applications, 2021
In this paper, we introduce the notions of non-abelian tensor and exterior products of two ideal graded crossed submodules of a given crossed module of Lie superalgebras.

On Left Braces in Which Every Subbrace is an Ideal

Results in Mathematics
The aim of this paper is to introduce and study the class of all left braces in which every subbrace is an ideal. We call them Dedekind left braces. It is proved that every finite Dedekind left brace is centrally nilpotent.

POSITIVE POLARIZATIONS AND ABELIAN IDEALS IN LIE ALGEBRAS

Mathematics of the USSR-Sbornik, 1981
In this paper a theorem on the relative distribution of an abelian ideal and a positive polarization in a Lie algebra (of general type) is proved. It permits one to extend signficantly the domain of application of a theorem on holomorphically induced representations of Lie groups with an abelian normal subgroup and a criterion for nontriviality of the ...

Positive Hermitian curvature flow on nilpotent and almost-abelian complex Lie groups

Annals of Global Analysis and Geometry, 2020
We study the positive Hermitian curvature flow on the space of left-invariant metrics on complex Lie groups. We show that in the nilpotent case, the flow exists for all positive times and subconverges in the Cheeger–Gromov sense to a soliton.

Notes on R1-ideals in partial abelian monoids

Algebra Universalis, 2000
A cancellative positive partial abelian monoid (CPAM) is an algebra \(\mathcal P =(P;\oplus ,0)\) of type \((2,0)\) which is a partial commutative monoid satisfying the left cancellation law and \(a\oplus b=0\) implies \(a=0\). The author generalizes effect algebras or \(D\)-posets. Several concepts of ideals are introduced. Especially, an \(R1\)-ideal

ABELIAN IDEALS IN A COMPLEX SIMPLE LIE ALGEBRA

Glasgow Mathematical Journal, 2016
AbstractIn this note, we give a new simple construction of all maximal abelian ideals in a Borel subalgebra of a complex simple Lie algebra. We also derive formulas for dimensions of certain maximal abelian ideals in terms of the theory of Borel de Siebenthal.
