Time multiplexing based geometrical aberrations correction
Optics Letters, 2016The use of the time-multiplexing super-resolution method for extending the depth of focus of an imaging system was recently presented [Opt. Lett.41, 183 (2016)OPLEDP0146-959210.1364/OL.41.000183]. It involved changing the encoding and decoding gratings frequencies, which determine the optical transfer function duplications positions, and by that ...

Several multipole correctors compensating for the unavoidable axial aberrations of round lenses are outlined. It is shown that the correction of chromatic aberration requires superposed electric and magnetic quadrupole fields which act as first-order Wien filters.

Proposal for aberration-corrected imaging spectrograph
Applied Optics, 1997We propose a novel flat-field imaging spectrograph that consists of two plane gratings, four spherical mirrors, and two plane mirrors. The imaging spectrograph is designed in such a manner that the primary and the secondary principal points of the whole optical system for the horizontal direction coincide with those for the vertical direction.

Keystone aberration correction in overhead projectors
Applied Optics, 2004Keystone distortion that occurs in overhead projectors when the projecting lens head is tilted upward to a high screen is commonly observed. Here we suggest a modification of the typical overhead projector to eliminate this distortion of the image.

Aberration Correction in Near Field Tomography
2004This paper describes a non invasive imaging technique for breast imaging. High resolution can be improved by using wide-band interrogating waves given that the receiving transducer be placed in the near field zone of the object (i.e. close to the skin).

The correction of electron lens aberrations
Ultramicroscopy, 2015The progress of electron lens aberration correction from about 1990 onwards is chronicled. Reasonably complete lists of publications on this and related topics are appended. A present for Max Haider and Ondrej Krivanek in the year of their 65th birthdays.

Aberrations and Their Correction
1984The job of an optical designer is to decide what construction of lens to use for each optical subassembly in the instrument that is to be designed and then calculate the specific surface radii, diameters, separations, thicknesses and glass types that are to be used in each part of the instrument.
