Abietane diterpenoids of Salvia anastomosans

Phytochemistry, 1989
Abstract The aerial parts of Salvia anastomosans afforded, in addition to oleanolic and ursolic acids, three abietane diterpenoids: conacytone and icetexone, of known structures, and anastomosine, a new 9(10→20)-abeo-abietane diterpenoid whose structure was elucidated by spectroscopic and chemical means.

ent-Abietane diterpenoids from Isodon xerophilus

Archives of Pharmacal Research, 2011
Three new ent-abietanoids, named xerophilusins XIV-XVI, and four known analogues, as well as four known chemical constituents were isolated from the leaves of Isodon xerophilus. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic studies, and comparison with literature data.

Antimicrobial abietane diterpenoids from Plectranthus elegans

Phytochemistry, 1996
Two novel abietane diterpenoids have been isolated from the aerial material of Plectranthus elegans and identified as 11-hydroxy-12-oxo-7,9(11),13-abietatriene and 7 alpha,11-dihydroxy-12-methoxy-8,11,13-abietatriene. Their structures were determined through rigorous use of spectroscopic methods.

Abietane Diterpenoids from Clerodendrum bungei

Journal of Natural Products, 2008
Five new naturally occurring abietane diterpenoids (1-5) along with three known diterpenoids (6-8) were isolated from an acetone-soluble extract of the roots of Clerodendrum bungei. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis and chemical methods.

Antidepressant Abietane Diterpenoids from Chinese Eaglewood

Journal of Natural Products, 2013
Ten new abietane diterpenoids, aquilarabietic acids A-J (1-10), and a new podocarpane diterpenoid, aquilarabietic acid K (11), were isolated from the petroleum ether and ethanol extracts of Chinese eaglewood. Among them, 3, 9, and 10 are artifacts. Their structures were established on the basis of data from extensive spectroscopic and X-ray diffraction

Icetexane and abietane diterpenoids from Salvia gilliessi

Phytochemistry, 2000
One icetexane and two abietane diterpenes were isolated from the aerial parts of Salvia gilliesii, and characterized as 5-epi-icetexone; 12-hydroxy-11,14-diketo-6,8,12-abietatrien-19,20-olide and 6 alpha,12,19-trihydroxy-11,14-diketo-8,12-abietadien-20,7 beta-olide, respectively.

Abietane Diterpenes from Hyptis suaveolens

Chemistry & Biodiversity, 2013
AbstractInvestigation of the constituents of the whole plant of Hyptis suaveolens led to the isolation of three new abietane diterpenes, isosuaveolic acid (1), 8α,9α‐epoxysuaveolic acid (2), and 14‐O‐methylsuaveolic acid (3), together with eleven known compounds. The structures of 1–3 were established by spectroscopic methods and chemical correlations.
