ABO-Specific Autoagglutinins

Abstract. The serum of healthy Mrs. Ste. whose blood group is A1B agglutinated the erythrocytes of some 50% of B persons tested. No other erythrocytes were agglutinated. The agglutinin was absorbed by group B and AB erythrocytes, slightly weaker by A1 erythrocytes and still more weakly by A2 and O erythrocytes.
