Calibrating an occupancy metric to monitor elusive territorial species at large scale: Application to the grey wolf population in France

open access: yesEcological Solutions and Evidence, Volume 6, Issue 4, October–December 2025.
As a cost‐effective alternative to abundance, we developed and calibrated a spatial metric to monitor elusive territorial species distributed over large areas. The spatial metric can provide three elements: annual maps of predicted presence, annual estimates of the total area occupied and evaluation of changes in occupancy at a local scale from year to

Quantitative analysis of RNA abondance for CTCF during reprogramming of bovine embryo from oocyte to blastocyst [PDF]

open access: yesArchives Animal Breeding, 2015
CTCF is a highly conserved protein among eukaryotes and it is involved in many of regulatory functions including, transcriptional repression and activation, chromatin insulation, imprinting, X chromosome inactivation, higher-order chromatin organization,

A generalized modeling framework for spatially extensive species abundance prediction and population estimation

open access: yesEcosphere, Volume 16, Issue 10, October 2025.
Abstract Spatially explicit estimates of species abundance and distribution are increasingly needed to support conservation planning and management across multiple spatial scales. We present a generalized modeling framework that bridges the gap between local studies and regional to national planning by compiling and harmonizing diverse datasets to ...

The effects of caffeine and adenosine on the microbiome and lipidome of the scalp

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, Volume 47, Issue 5, Page 916-930, October 2025.
At 12 weeks, anti‐hair loss effects were evident with decreased Pseudomonas, Escherichia‐Shigella and Malassezia and increased Talaromyces and Cutibacterium. Lipid levels were impacted, correlating with Escherichia‐Shigella and Talaromyces. Abstract Hair loss is a complex multifactorial process.

Heavy tail properties of stationary solutions of multidimensional stochastic recursions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We consider the following recurrence relation with random i.i.d. coefficients $(a_n,b_n)$: $$ x_{n+1}=a_{n+1} x_n+b_{n+1} $$ where $a_n\in GL(d,\mathbb{R}),b_n\in \mathbb{R}^d$.

The surrounding landscape affects ecosystem multifunctionality in oilseed rape fields

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 62, Issue 9, Page 2283-2295, September 2025.
Our findings suggest that diverse landscapes are required to ensure the simultaneous delivery of a bundle of ecosystem functions in oilseed rape fields. Altogether, our findings indicate that landscape management should not only promote different semi‐natural elements but also should target limitation of dilution effects.
