Maternal mortality and illegal abortions
Journal of obstetrics and women's diseases, 2000 The analysis of 32 lethal outcomes resulted from illegal abortions is earned out. On duration of gestation the highest frequency was in cases of gestation duration more than 12 weeks of pregnancy (78,2%). By the factors promoting the lethality were intervention with the purpose of an abortion and late hospitalization.
