A defense of ectogenic abortion

Abstract A popular argument for a right to ectogenic abortions appeals to a right to avoid the obligations associated with parenthood. A common objection to this argument questions whether there are any sufficiently great harms associated with parenthood to ground such a right. I propose a novel formulation of this argument that avoids these objections.

Two Novel Protein‐Truncating Variants in NLRP2 and Their Functional Impacts on the Subcortical Maternal Complex

Two deleterious protein‐truncating NLRP2 variants were identified in a patient with female infertility, four early miscarriages, and one failed attempt of intracytoplasmic sperm injection. The variants mediate mRNA decay and alter NLRP2 structure and interactions with other members of the SCMC.

Multi‐Omics Reveal the Metabolic Changes in Cumulus Cells During Aging
