L’herpèsvirus bovin de type 4 (BoHV-4) est un gammaherpèsvirus qui circule de manière importante parmi les bovins à travers le monde. Identifié depuis 50 ans, les publications françaises restent rares à son sujet. Il infecte les cellules mononuclées sanguines et établit une latence chez l’organisme bovin infecté.
