A self‐gelling PG@PAC (POD/Gel‐CDH@PA/CHX) powder is developed for infected burn care in austere settings. Upon contact with wound exudate, it instantly forms an adhesive hydrogel, providing simultaneous hemostasis, broad‐spectrum antibacterial activity, reactive oxygen species scavenging, and immunomodulation. In a murine model of S.

A UV‐triggered injectable dual‐network hydrogel is reported as the first application of bletilla striata polysaccharide (BSP) in osteochondral repair. By integrating methacrylamide‐modified BSP and nitrobenzaldehyde‐functionalized hyaluronic acid, the system achieves immunomodulation, mechanical reinforcement, and dynamic tissue adhesion, thereby ...

Experimental study on tangential vibration assisted abrasive flow finishing of circular tubes
Objectives: When the traditional abrasive flow machining (AFM) technology is used to process workpieces with complex shapes and inner walls of the tunnels, the machining quality of the workpiece surface tends to be uneven in each directions.

Effect of abrasive grit size on wear of manganese-zinc ferrite under three-body abrasion [PDF]
Wear experiments were conducted using replication electron microscopy and reflection electron diffraction to study abrasion and deformed layers produced in single-crystal Mn-Zn ferrites under three-body abrasion.

CFD Simulation of the Abrasive Flow Machining Process
AbstractFor the Abrasive Flow Machining (AFM) process, a highly viscous polymeric carrier mixed with abrasive grain is used for deburring, edge rounding and the general improvement of surface quality of workpieces with complex geometries. At present, time-consuming and expensive feasibility studies and parameter analyses are required for each new ...

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Analytical modeling of surface roughness in precision grinding of particle reinforced metal matrix composites considering nanomechanical response of material [PDF]
Grinding is usually applied for particle reinforced metal matrix composites (PRMMCs) to achieve high ground surface quality. However, the surface quality especially surface roughness is difficult to predict theoretically due to different mechanical ...

Fluorine‐Free Soft Nanocomposites for High‐Speed Liquid Impact Repellence
Fluorine‐free soft nanocomposite coatings are developed using silicone oil‐mediated mechanical‐stiffness control, enabling ‘dry’ liquid‐repellent surfaces that resist high‐speed water jet impacts up to ∼60 m/s. By tuning nanoparticle loading and oil content, the coatings also achieve >90% optical transparency, amphiphobicity with impact resistance to ...

ABRASIVE ABSORPTION STUDY IN AWJ CUTTING [PDF]
This paper studies the forming process of the hydro abrasive jet and the factors that determine its behaviour after leaving the nozzle until the moment of impact with the piece, in order to obtain an optimized configuration of the processing.
