Dietary Patterns in Patients With Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Transoral Ultrasound in the Diagnostic Workup of Peritonsillar Abscess—A Randomized Clinical Trial

Peritonsillar abscess frequently mimics peritonsillar cellulitis, exposing many patients to unnecessary and often painful blind needle aspirations. In this multicenter randomized clinical trial of 95 patients, adding transoral ultrasound to standard examination reduced needle aspiration attempts by nearly one third.

Increased Pediatric Head and Neck Abscesses Following the COVID‐19 Pandemic

This study evaluated the impact of the COVID‐19 pandemic on pediatric head and neck abscesses at two tertiary care centers. Overall head and neck abscess incidence increased more than threefold in the post‐pandemic period compared with the pre‐pandemic period, with increases observed across all major abscess subtypes.
