Ordinary, absolute and strong summability and matrix transformations [PDF]
Many important sequence spaces arise in a natural way from various concepts of summability, namely ordinary, absolute and strong summability. In the first two cases they may be considered as the domains of the matrices that define the respective methods of summability; the situation, however, is different and more complicated in the case of strong ...

Tauberian Theorems for Strong and Absolute Borel-Type Methods of Summability(1) [PDF]
Suppose throughout that s, an (n = 0,1,2,…) are arbitrary complex numbers, that α > 0 and β is real and that N is a non-negative integer such that αN + β≥1 ...

On Strong and Absolute Summability [PDF]
Suppose throughout that λ > 0, κ > - l. γ is real and thatThe series is said to be(i) summable (C, k) to s if (ii) strongly summable (C, k + 1) with index λ, or summable |C, k + 1|λ, to s if(iii) absolutely summable (C, k) with indices γ, λ, or summable |C, k + 1|λ ...

We establish conditions of $|\gamma|_p$- and $[\gamma]_p$-summability in degree $p \geqslant 1$ of series, associated with Fourier series, at the point where $\gamma = \| \gamma_{nk} \|$ is the matrix of transformation of series to sequence.

We establish conditions of $|\gamma|_p$- and $[\gamma]_p$-summability in degree $p \geqslant 1$ of $r$ times differentiated Fourier series at the point where $\gamma = \| \gamma_{nk} \|$ is the matrix of transformation of series to sequence. Analogous conditions are considered also for $r$ times differentiated conjugate Fourier series.

Generalized Hausdorff Matrices With Applications To Strong And Absolute Summability [PDF]
Hausdorff summability methods include such well known methods as those of Cesaro, Holder, and Euler. Consequently, the properties of Hausdorff matrices have been extensively investigated since 1921 when the German mathematician Flex von Hausdorff first published his paper entitled "Summationsmethoden und Momentfolgen I" {lcub}11{rcub}.;In 1922 ...
