Heat stress is a critical constraint to poultry production in tropical regions, where the temperature–humidity index (THI) frequently exceeds thermoneutral thresholds. Despite growing interest in climate-resilient livestock, limited research has explored

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Effect of addition of red spinach leaf extract (Amaranthus tricolor L.) in feed against the level of color brightness of sword platy fish (Xiphophorus helleri) [PDF]
Color is important factor ornamental fish, especially sword platy fish, because can affect selling value. One factor influences color brightness is carotenoids. Carotenoids cannot synthesized by fish's body so must be supplied through feed provided.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Crop Growth Analysis of Autumn- and Spring-Sown Wheat–Pea Intercrops
Intercropping of arable crops might provide yield benefits over monocrops. To assess the effect of sowing date and sowing ratio on biomass formation and competition over time, a two-year field experiment with wheat and pea plants was performed in Eastern

Contribution of sulfuric acid and oxidized organic compounds to particle formation and growth [PDF]
Lack of knowledge about the mechanisms underlying new particle formation and their subsequent growth is one of the main causes for the large uncertainty in estimating the radiative forcing of atmospheric aerosols in global models.

Rapid screening of staphylokinase protein variants using an unpurified cell‐free expression system
An unpurified cell‐free protein synthesis (CFPS) platform enables rapid functional screening of staphylokinase variants. Direct plasminogen‐activation assays performed in microplate format provide real‐time activity readouts, allowing rapid identification and ranking of variants with improved or reduced fibrinolytic activity without protein ...

Exchange Rate – Relative Price Nonlinear Cointegration Relationship in Malaysia [PDF]
The finding of exchange rate–relative price nonlinear cointegration relationship in Malaysia, among others, suggests that nonlinear Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) equilibrium may be regarded as reference point in judging the short run misalignment of the ...
