Comprehensive analysis and functional validation of key genes in bladder cancer progression

Bladder cancer is highly diverse between patients, making it difficult to accurately predict who will have aggressive disease and poor outcomes. In this study, we integrated single‐cell RNA sequencing with clinical survival data to identify a simple three‐gene signature (FAM3B, C10orf99, and VMP1) that stratifies patients into high‐ and low‐risk groups.

immunoHuMiX: A personalizable gut‐on‐chip model for unraveling human microbiome–immune interactions

The study introduces a personalized gut model that brings together human immune cells and intestinal cells to better mimic how the body interacts with microbes. This system successfully maintained both human cells and a 17‐strain probiotic community, showing consistent immune responses across different donors.

Colour Morphs as Alternative Solutions to the Trade‐Off Predicted by the Immuno‐Competence Handicap Hypothesis

In this study, we tested whether white and yellow morphs of the common wall lizard (Podarcis muralis) adopt alternative strategies shaped by the immuno‐competence handicap hypotheses (ICHH).
