On Absolute Continuity of Non Negative Functions
This paper is committed to the study of absolute continuity of non negative functions with respect to vector measures. Almost everywhere properties are applied to establish boundedness, measurability and convergence of sequences of measurable functions. The measurability of sets with respect to vector duality functions with values in a Hilbert space is

High‐temperature interactions between low‐sulfur Al‐killed Mn–B steel and MgO–C refractories (0 and 50 wt% recyclates) are studied via finger immersion tests (1600 °C). Surface‐active elements influence infiltration. MgO/CaS layer forms, along with spinel and calcium silicate.

Algebraic bases of some algebras of polynomials on Banach spaces
The work is devoted to the study of algebraic bases of algebras of continuous polynomials on real and complex Banach spaces. A subset of an algebra is called an algebraic basis if every element of the algebra can be uniquely represented as a linear ...

Solvability of an infinite system of nonlinear integral equations of Volterra-Hammerstein type
The purpose of the paper is to study the solvability of an infinite system of integral equations of Volterra-Hammerstein type on an unbounded interval. We show that such a system of integral equations has at least one solution in the space of functions ...

The thermal diffusivity of MgO‐C refractories is highly sensitive to sample preparation and processing procedures. In this article, the effects of coking sequence, machining conditions, structural inhomogeneity, and graphite coating application on measurements using laser flash apparatus are systematically investigated.

This work presents a simulation‐based framework based on representative volume elements (RVEs) that explicitly incorporates process‐induced second‐order residual stresses into the fatigue strength assessment of ductile cast iron (DCI). For the first time, this approach enables a direct evaluation of the influence of second‐order residual stress fields ...

Carbon nanomaterial‐reinforced epoxy composites exhibit pronounced piezoresistive behavior, enabling intrinsic damage sensing under cyclic and fatigue loading. This review critically compares carbon nanotube and graphene systems, correlating filler content, percolation threshold, and gauge factor with sensing stability and damage evolution.

The Role of Nonpolynomiality in Uniform Approximation by RBF Networks of Hankel Translates
Given μ>-1/2 and c∈I=]0,∞[, let the space Cμ,c (respectively, Cμ) consist of all those continuous functions u on ]0,c] (respectively, I) such that the limit limz→0+z-μ-1/2u(z) exists and is finite; Cμ,c is endowed with the uniform norm uμ,∞,c=supz∈[0,c]

Influence of an Argon/Silane Atmosphere on the Temperature of a Thermal Plasma
The influence of a silane‐doped argon atmosphere on the chemical composition and temperature of a thermal nontransferring argon plasma is investigated using optical emission spectroscopy. As a result of the high amount of free electrons resulting from the stepwise ionization and dissociation of the silane molecule, even a silane addition of 0.01 vol ...

On convergence of Chlodovsky type Durrmeyer polynomials in variation seminorm
This paper deals with the variation detracting property and rate of approximation of the Chlodovsky type Durrmeyer polynomials in the space of functions of bounded variation with respect to the variation seminorm.
