Spin-hybrid-phonon resonance in anisotropic quantum dots
We have studied the absorption of electromagnetic radiation of an anisotropic quantum dot taking into account the spin-flip processes that is associated with the interaction of the electrons with optical phonons.

Age‐Related Characteristics of SYT1‐Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorder
ABSTRACT Objectives We describe the clinical manifestations and developmental abilities of individuals with SYT1‐associated neurodevelopmental disorder (Baker‐Gordon syndrome) from infancy to adulthood. We further describe the neuroradiological and electrophysiological characteristics of the condition at different ages, and explore the associations ...

On Iterative Algorithms for Quantitative Photoacoustic Tomography in the Radiative Transport Regime
In this paper, we describe the numerical reconstruction method for quantitative photoacoustic tomography (QPAT) based on the radiative transfer equation (RTE), which models light propagation more accurately than diffusion approximation (DA).

Recovery of the absorption coefficient in radiative transport from a single measurement [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate the recovery of the absorption coefficient from boundary data assuming that the region of interest is illuminated at an initial time.

Thermal cyclotron absorption coefficients
The accuracy of some of the analytic formulas for thermal cyclotron absorption coefficients is checked for temperatures in the range of 5-50 keV. It is suggested that the Robinson and Melrose (1984) analytic formulas provide the best accuracy for these absorption coefficients at large viewing angles theta with the magnetic field and sufficiently high ...

Uncertainty analysis for the coefficient of band-to-band absorption of crystalline silicon
We analyze the uncertainty of the coefficient of band-to-band absorption of crystalline silicon. For this purpose, we determine the absorption coefficient at room temperature (295 K) in the wavelength range from 250 to 1450 nm using four different ...
