Effect of chemotherapy on passenger mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Changes in passenger mutation load and predicted immunotherapy response after chemotherapy treatment. Tumor cells rich with passenger mutations have increased sensitivity to chemotherapy. Correlation of passenger mutations with neoantigen load suggests highly mutated clones promote a more effective response to immunotherapy, and therefore, first‐line ...

On the spectrum of weakly almost periodic solutions of certain abstract differential equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1985
In a sequentially weakly complete Banach space, if the dual operator of a linear operator A satisfies certain conditions, then the spectrum of any weakly almost periodic solution of the differential equation u′=Au+f is identical with the spectrum of f ...

Abstract Schroedinger-Type Differential Equations with Variable Domain

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1997
Existence and uniqueness results for suitably defined weak solutions to the Cauchy problem for a class of linear abstract differential equations of Schrödinger type with variable domain are proved.

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Abstract differential inequalities and the Cauchy problem for infinite-dimensional linear functional differential equations

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2005
We establish optimal, in a sense, unique solvability conditions of the Cauchy problem for a wide class of linear functional differential equations in a Banach space with a solid wedge.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Solvability and completeness of solutions of parabolic differential-operator equations [PDF]

open access: yesМатематичні Студії, 2011
We consider an abstract Cauchy problem for parabolic differential-operator equations in Hilbert spaces. Initial boundary value problems for parabolic equations are reduced to the Cauchy problem for a system of parabolic differential equations.

LINC01116, a hypoxia‐lncRNA marker of pathological lymphangiogenesis and poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...
