Gravity‐Dependent Modulation of Downbeat Nystagmus: Insights From Velocity‐Storage Dysfunction

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Downbeat nystagmus varies with head position, a phenomenon termed gravity‐dependent modulation. We aimed to clarify its mechanism using a velocity‐storage model. Methods In 10 patients with downbeat nystagmus due to cerebellar disorders, we recorded eye movements at different pitch‐ and roll‐axis head positions.

Quantum walk neural networks with feature dependent coins

open access: yesApplied Network Science, 2019
Recent neural networks designed to operate on graph-structured data have proven effective in many domains. These graph neural networks often diffuse information using the spatial structure of the graph.

Troponin T and Neurofilament Light Chain Levels as Complementary Biomarkers of Disease Accumulation and Aggressiveness in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a clinically heterogeneous neurodegenerative disease requiring reliable biomarkers to improve patient stratification and trial design. While serum neurofilament light chain (sNfL) reflects neuroaxonal stress and disease aggressiveness, troponin T (TnT) may capture complementary aspects of ...

CSF Cytokine Network Organization Predicts Progression Independent of Relapse and MRI Activity in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Progression independent of relapse activity is a major determinant of long‐term disability in multiple sclerosis, but its immunopathologic basis remains incompletely understood. We investigated whether relapse‐independent progression in radiologically stable relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis is associated with distinct ...

Harary index of the zero divisor graph of upper triangular matrices

open access: yesScientific Reports
The Harary Index is an important topological parameter for examining the structure of a graph. This work presents a quantitative analysis of the structural features of zero-divisor graph using the Harary Index.

Parameterized streaming : maximal matching and vertex cover [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
As graphs continue to grow in size, we seek ways to effectively process such data at scale. The model of streaming graph processing, in which a compact summary is maintained as each edge insertion/deletion is observed, is an attractive one.

Reserves, Injury Severity, and Outcomes in Traumatic Brain Injury: A CENTER‐TBI Observational Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Reserve refers to the brain's ability to maintain function after an injury and strongly relates to traumatic brain injury (TBI) outcomes. This study examined (1) whether associations between pre‐injury reserve proxies and outcomes differed across injury severity categories, and (2) whether the impact of injury severity varied across ...

GNN-MFF: A Multi-View Graph-Based Model for RTL Hardware Trojan Detection

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The globalization of hardware design flows has increased the risk of Hardware Trojan (HT) insertion during the design phase. Graph-based learning methods have shown promise for HT detection at the Register Transfer Level (RTL).

Subjective Cognitive Concerns and Cognitive Trajectories in Parkinson's Disease: Biomarker Impact

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the relationship of subjective cognitive concerns (SCC) with biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease (AD), neurodegeneration, and Parkinson's disease (PD) and domain‐specific cognitive trajectories among cognitively unimpaired persons with de novo PD. Method Cognitively unimpaired participants with SCC (n = 294) and without SCC (
