Bert-based graph unlinked embedding for sentiment analysis
Numerous graph neural network (GNN) models have been used for sentiment analysis in recent years. Nevertheless, addressing the issue of over-smoothing in GNNs for node representation and finding more effective ways to learn both global and local ...

Code Flows: Visualizing Structural Evolution of Source Code [PDF]
Understanding detailed changes done to source code is of great importance in software maintenance. We present Code Flows, a method to visualize the evolution of source code geared to the understanding of fine and mid-level scale changes across several ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Framework and Algorithms for Accelerating Training of Semi-supervised Graph Neural Network Based on Heuristic Coarsening Algorithms [PDF]
Graph neural network is the mainstream tool of graph machine learning at the current stage, and it has broad development prospects.By constructing an abstract graph structure, the graph neural network model can be used to efficiently deal with problems in ...

An Algebra of Hierarchical Graphs and its Application to Structural Encoding [PDF]
We define an algebraic theory of hierarchical graphs, whose axioms characterise graph isomorphism: two terms are equated exactly when they represent the same graph.

A graph rewriting programming language for graph drawing [PDF]
This paper describes Grrr, a prototype visual graph drawing tool. Previously there were no visual languages for programming graph drawing algorithms despite the inherently visual nature of the process.

Microbiome‐blood–brain barrier interactions in aging — mechanisms and therapeutic potential
Aging reshapes the gut microbiome (↓SCFA‐producing commensals; ↑pro‐inflammatory outputs), shifting circulating metabolites (↓SCFAs; ↑LPS, ↑TMAO, ↑PAA) that act at the BBB to increase nonspecific transcytosis, alter transport, and promote astrocyte reactivity, heightening brain vulnerability.

Graph Homomorphism Revisited for Graph Matching [PDF]
In a variety of emerging applications one needs to decide whether a graph G matches another Gp, i.e., whether G has a topological structure similar to that of Gp. The traditional notions of graph homomorphism and isomorphism often fall short of capturing

Golgi enzymes are retrieved from the plasma membrane to the trans‐Golgi network
Golgi enzymes are traditionally considered resident proteins retained within the Golgi apparatus. Here, we demonstrate that a subset transiently reaches the cell surface and is subsequently retrieved to the trans‐Golgi network via retrograde transport. Using a nanobody‐based toolkit, we uncover a dynamic trafficking cycle of several Golgi enzymes.

Dimensionality reduction is crucial for the visualization and interpretation of the high-dimensional single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data. However, preserving topological structure among cells to low dimensional space remains a challenge. Here, we
