Stochastic collocation on unstructured multivariate meshes
Collocation has become a standard tool for approximation of parameterized systems in the uncertainty quantification (UQ) community. Techniques for least-squares regularization, compressive sampling recovery, and interpolatory reconstruction are becoming ...

Generating Non-Linear Interpolants by Semidefinite Programming [PDF]
Interpolation-based techniques have been widely and successfully applied in the verification of hardware and software, e.g., in bounded-model check- ing, CEGAR, SMT, etc., whose hardest part is how to synthesize interpolants. Various work for discovering

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

On the interpolation in linear normed spaces using multiple nodes
In the papers [2], [3], [4], [6], [7] we indicated a method of extending the notion of interpolation polynomial for the case of a non-linear mapping \(f : X \to Y\) where \(X\) and \(Y\) are linear spaces with special structures.

Sparse multivariate polynomial interpolation in the basis of Schubert polynomials
Schubert polynomials were discovered by A. Lascoux and M. Sch\"utzenberger in the study of cohomology rings of flag manifolds in 1980's. These polynomials generalize Schur polynomials, and form a linear basis of multivariate polynomials.

Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.
