Interpolation methods for spatial distribution of groundwater mapping electrical conductivity
This study was carried out to develop a conceptual framework for determining the best interpolation method which mainly is employed to calculate the variability maps of electrical conductivity (EC) in neighboring regions.

Systems theoretic methods in decoding [PDF]
In this paper we show how ideas based on system theoretic modeling of linear behaviors may be used for decoding of linear codes. In particular we show how Sudan's bivariate interpolation approach to list decoding of RS codes allows a system theoretic ...

Counterexample-Guided Polynomial Loop Invariant Generation by Lagrange Interpolation
We apply multivariate Lagrange interpolation to synthesize polynomial quantitative loop invariants for probabilistic programs. We reduce the computation of an quantitative loop invariant to solving constraints over program variables and unknown ...

Strong Proton‐Phonon Coupling Drives Fast Ion Transport in Perovskites
Experimental and computational phonon analysis of ABO3‐type proton conductor BaSnO3 shows that substitution on the B‐site with yttrium forms an imaginary phonon mode which is instrumental for the function as proton conductor. This overcompensates the adverse proton trapping effect of the yttrium.

A comparative study of interpolation methods for the development of ore distribution maps
Mining projects require precise knowledge about tonnage and quality of ore reserves for planning and decision-making. This is hard to establish as exploration operations, which are costly, time-consuming and require an accurate description of the deposit.

CellPolaris decodes how transcription factors guide cell fate by building gene regulatory networks from transcriptomic data using transfer learning. It generates tissue‐ and cell‐type‐specific networks, identifies master regulators in cell state transitions, and simulates TF perturbations in developmental processes.

This study presents a novel in situ laser‐induced breakdown spectroscopy system for monitoring metal vapors produced by the intense laser‐metal interactions in laser powder bed fusion additive manufacturing and laser welding. The insights from this new technique reveal changes in alloy compositions and provide the first in situ validation of multi ...

Perturbative unorientable JT gravity and matrix models
We consider an orthogonal polynomial formulation of the double scaling limit of multicritical matrix models in the β = 1 Dyson-Wigner class. They capture the physics of 2D quantum gravity coupled to minimal matter on unorientable surfaces, otherwise ...
