Fredholm and spectral properties of Toeplitz operators on $H^p$ spaces over ordered groups [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Toeplitz operators on spaces $H^p(G)\ (1< p<\infty)$ associated with compact connected Abelian group $G$ with ordered dual are considered and the generalization of the classical Gohberg-Krein theorem on the Fredholm index of such operators with continuous symbols is proved. Applications to spectral theory of Toeplitz operators are given and examples of

Family index for Fredholm extensions of semi-Fredholm operators [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
This paper is devoted to Fredholm realizations of semi-Fredholm operators in a Hilbert space. Such a realization is determined by an abstract boundary condition, which is a subspace of the space of abstract boundary values. We find the $K^0$ index of a family of Fredholm realizations of semi-Fredholm operators in terms of the corresponding family of ...

$N$-Laplacian problems with critical Trudinger-Moser nonlinearities [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
We prove existence and multiplicity results for a $N$-Laplacian problem with a critical exponential nonlinearity that is a natural analog of the Brezis-Nirenberg problem for the borderline case of the Sobolev inequality. This extends results in the literature for the semilinear case $N = 2$ to all $N \ge 2$.

Concepts Maps in the Documentary Analysis or Ontological Documentary: Philosophical Approach

open access: yesCybrarians Journal, 2016
One of most important fields of Library and Information Sciences is documentary analysis with its four operations: subject cataloging, classification, indexing, abstracting; especially in specialized libraries.

Syntax and Semantics of Abstract Binding Trees [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
The contribution of this paper is the development of the syntax and semantics of multi-sorted nominal abstract binding trees (abts), an extension of second order universal algebra to support symbol-indexed families of operators. Nominal abts are essential for correctly treating the syntax of languages with generative phenomena, including exceptions and
