Bringing a Wider Socioecological Lens to the Psychology of Poverty

open access: yesSocial Issues and Policy Review, Volume 20, Issue 1, December 2026.
ABSTRACT Poverty is a persistent social issue that policymakers have turned to psychology for help in addressing. This has spurred an upswing in research on the psychology of poverty over the past 15 years, leading to a maturing evidence base on how the conditions of resource scarcity and other forms of socioeconomic adversity shape decision‐making and

Predicting Crack Propagation in Brittle TPMS Under Uniaxial Loading: A Dual Concept Approach via Geodesic Lines and Cross‐Sectional Analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Ceramic Engineering &Science, Volume 8, Issue 4, July 2026.
Cracking in brittle TPMS structures is governed by their geometry, with cracks propagating along geodesic paths determined by the initial crack orientation. Regions with small cross‐sections and abrupt area transitions identify critical damage regions and explain the differences in compressive strength among Primitive, Gyroid, Neovius, and IWP designs.

A Transparent Long‐Term Cooling Green Plant‐Like Window for Net‐Zero Energy Buildings

open access: yesCarbon Neutralization, Volume 5, Issue 4, July 2026.
In this work, we report a bioinspired transparent green plant‐like window that integrates passive cooling, thermal insulation, and solar‐driven waste heat recovery to reduce building energy consumption. Outdoor field tests and 168‐h solar simulator exposure confirm long‐term thermal stability and cooling up to 21.9°C, and then simulations across 30 ...
