Multi‐port medium‐frequency PET topology for integrating photovoltaic generation with battery storage

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation
This paper proposes a multi‐port medium‐frequency power electronic transformer (PET) topology for integrating photovoltaic (PV) generation with battery storage (BS). Firstly, this proposed PET provides multiple ports for renewable energy grid generation,

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...

Single‐ and Dual‐Atom Configurations in Atomically Dispersed Catalysts for Lithium–Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Single‐atom and dual‐atom‐based atomically dispersed catalysts (ADCs) effectively address the shuttle effect and sluggish redox kinetics in Li–S batteries. With nearly 100% atomic utilization and tunable coordination environments, ADCs enhance LiPSs adsorption, lower conversion barriers, and accelerate sulfur redox reactions.

Investigation of Halogen Substitution Effects in π‐Conjugated Organic Ligands of Chiral Hybrid Perovskites on Their Chiroptical Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The role of novel thiophene‐based ligands with halogen substitutions in enhancing the chiroptical and optoelectronic properties of 2D chiral HOIPs has been investigated. By tailoring ligand design, enhanced CD and CPL properties are achieved, with improved CPL discrimination in photodetectors.

Adaptive complex coefficient‐filtered extended states observer type three‐phase enhanced phase‐locked loop

open access: yesIET Power Electronics
This paper proposes an adaptive complex coefficient filtered (CCF) full order extended state observer (ESO) type three phase enhanced phase locked loop (EPLL), which is employed in matrix reactance frequency converter (MRFC) for rotating vectors ...
