FastCat: Autonomous Discovery of Multielement Layered Double Hydroxide Alloy Catalysts for Alkaline Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
A machine learning‐guided self‐driving laboratory screened over 500 nickel‐based layered double‐hydroxide catalysts for alkaline oxygen evolution. Out of the eight metals, the robot uncovered a quaternary Ni–Fe–Cr–Co catalysts requiring only 231 mV overpotential to reach 20 mA cm−2.

A review of underwater inductive wireless power transfer system

open access: yesIET Power Electronics
The IPT system has been studied for underwater applications such as autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and subsea sensors. However, it rarely comparatively shows the performance of the IPT system in air, freshwater, and seawater.

Analog and Mixed Signal Verification [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
More and more electronic systems have components that are not purely digital. Verification of such systems is a much less developed discipline than the digital equivalents and the application of formal (mathematically complete) techniques is a nascent ...

Toward Capacitive In‐Memory‐Computing: A Device to Systems Level Perspective on the Future of Artificial Intelligence Hardware

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Capacitive, charge‐domain compute‐in‐memory (CIM) stores weights as capacitance, eliminating DC sneak paths and IR‐drop, yielding near‐zero standbypower. In this perspective, we present a device to systems level performance analysis of most promising architectures and predict apathway for upscaling capacitive CIM for sustainable edge computing ...

Dual‐Mode Oscillations in SiOx‐Based Threshold Switching Devices for Unconventional Probabilistic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
To enable versatile unconventional computing, a single SiOx threshold switching device is engineered to exhibit controllable dual‐mode oscillation. By modulating the input voltage, the device selectively provides stable full oscillation for oscillatory neural networks and stochastic probabilistic oscillation for probabilistic bits and true random ...
