Thermal‐Driven Diode Polarity Switching From Competing Helical Superconducting States in WTe2/α‐Fe2O3 Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A Nb‐proximitized Josephson junction based on a WTe2/α‐Fe2O3 heterostructure exhibits a robust superconducting diode effect with programmable polarity. The diode direction can be trained by magnetic fields and switched by temperature cycling, revealing tunable finite‐momentum pairing states and competing superconducting states in symmetry‐broken ...

A Direct Single-Phase to Three-Phase AC/AC Power Converter

open access: yes, 2022
The traditional DC-link indirect AC/AC power converters (AC/DC/AC converters) employ two-stage power conversion, which increases the circuit complexity along with gate driving challenges, placing an excessive burden on the processor while implementing ...

n‐Type Polymer Radio Frequency Rectifiers Operating at 18.5 GHz

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Combining an n‐doped polymer semiconductor with wafer‐scale asymmetric planar electrodes featuring work function‐engineered contacts yields radio‐frequency diodes and rectifying circuits operating at up to 18.5 GHz. The devices combine scalable manufacturing with an operating frequency previously unattainable by large‐area organic electronics ...

Giant Orbital Rashba–Edelstein Effect in Crystalline Cu2O/Cu Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An enhanced orbital Rashba–Edelstein effect is demonstrated in a crystalline Cu2O/Cu heterostructure, compared to naturally oxidized CuOx structures, highlighting the critical role of crystallinity and interface control in orbital torque generation. The resulting spin torque conductivity exceeds that of Pt, indicating the potential of orbital torque ...

AC/DC power conversion interface for self-excited induction generator

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation, 2009
A new AC/DC power conversion interface for the self-excited induction generator (SEIG) is proposed here. The proposed AC/DC conversion interface includes an excitation system and a diode rectifier connected in parallel. The variable frequency AC power generated by the SEIG is converted into DC power by the diode rectifier.

Ferroelectric Dynamic‐Field‐Driven Nucleation and Growth Model for Predictive Materials‐To‐Circuit Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a compact dynamic‐field‐driven nucleation and growth (DFNG) model that captures ferroelectric switching behavior under arbitrary voltage waveforms. It enables extraction of time‐dependent domain wall velocity and growth dimensionality, which can then be extended to device‐level modeling.
