Mechanical Behavior of Fly-Ash Geopolymer Under Stray-Current and Soft-Water Coupling
Stray-current and soft-water leaching can induce severe corrosion in reinforced concrete structures and buried metal pipelines within subway environments. The effects of water-to-binder ratio (W/C), modulus of sodium silicate (Ms), and alkali content (AC)

Co─Ce dual atomic configuration anchored on the surface of NC matrix has been constructed to regulate the local electron structure. The higher occupied states induced by the Co 3d‐Ce 4f orbital hybridization facilitate the formation of polarized electric fields, which in turn strengthens the polarization relaxation and partially repairs the effective ...

AC Corrosion of Cathodically Protected Pipelines
This doctoral thesis presents three years of research on alternating current (AC) corrosion of cathodicallyprotected (CP) pipelines. AC corrosion has become an increasing concern to pipeline operators worldwide during the last 30 years. This is due to a growing energy infrastructure of both buried pipelines and above ground high voltage transmission ...

Gecko like multi directional high power magneto mechano electric energy harvester (MME EH) for self powered, hundred meter scale LoRa communication. Inspired by the symmetric and flexible limb motion of geckos, the biomimetic harvester enables coordinated bending twisting responses to weak, low frequency (50/60 Hz) stray magnetic fields from power ...

AC corrosion on cathodically protected steel
This report deals with the effect of alternating current on cathodically protected steel. AC corrosion has become relevant in the offshore industry due to the introduction of the direct electric heating system (DEH). The principle with DEH is to prevent wax solidification inside pipelines by heating them up with alternating current.

Robust Fitting Polarization Curves of X70 Steel Under MIC and AC Interference
Extracting reliable corrosion kinetic parameters from polarization curves is particularly challenging for X70 steel under the synergistic effect of microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) and alternating current (AC) interference, as both factors ...
