Numerical Investigation of AC Loss in HTS Bulks Subjected to Rotating Magnetic Fields [PDF]
High-temperature superconductor (HTS) bulks have shown very promising potential for industrial applications due to their highly attractive superconducting characteristics. The practical application, however, has been handicapped by the AC losses.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Thermal Diffusion and AC Loss in High-Tc Superconductors,
The influence of thermal diffusion and temperature nonuniform distribution on ac loss of high-temperature superconductors has been investigated. Asymptotic solutions of magnetic and electric fields and ac loss are presented in the form of power series of

A brief review is presented on the ac losses of superconductors in the low-frequency, high-frequency, and weak-field regions. Special emphasis is given to the hysteresis loss which is the main part of the low frequency losses. Existing data of the low-frequency losses are collected to be shown in a single figure and it is shown that most of these can ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

AC loss in superconducting tapes and cables [PDF]
The present study discusses the AC loss in high-temperature superconductors. Superconducting materials with a relatively high critical temperature were discovered in 1986. They are presently developed for use in large-scale power-engineering devices such

AC loss in stator windings of superconducting motors
Many superconducting power applications contain REBCO coils. Superconducting motors are very interesting for mobile applications like aviation, thanks to their high power per unit weight.

AC Loss Reduction in HTS Coils and Armature Windings of Fully Superconducting Motors
High AC loss in armature windings is one of the greatest barriers to achieve practical fully-HTS (high-temperature superconducting) motors. At present, AC loss estimation for HTS armature windings is one of the core technical challenges.

AC loss analysis in superconducting cables carrying characteristic and non-characteristic harmonic currents [PDF]
Harmonic distortions - especially in current waveform - are the inherent nature of any power system such as urban grids, wind farms, electric aircraft, and other electrified transportation units that could change the AC loss value in High Temperature ...
