Controlling System of Automatic Microcontroller for Passion Fruit Juice Extractor
The fruits are squeezed to extract their concentrate in fruit processing factories or industries, especially for the purple passion fruit variety. However, separating seeds from the fruit pulp uses a blender, resulting in a mixture of seeds and pulp.

Matrix structure of unified mathematical model of electric AC machines at control [PDF]
The matrix structure of the equations of a generalized electric alternating current machine is proposed, which, based on the Parke equations, is written in the coordinate axes of the machines rotating with the rotor speed.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

A Novel Dual-Rotor Homopolar AC Machine
Homopolar AC Machines (HAMs) are of interest because of low rotor loss and the ability to operate at high speeds. These machines are frequently utilized in flywheel energy storage systems but are dominated by permanent magnet or induction machines in ...

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

First experimental demonstration of forced dynamic aperture measurements with LHC ac dipoles
Diagnostics of nonlinear beam dynamics has become more important for the LHC as it advances into increasingly challenging regimes of operation, as well as for the High Luminosity LHC where machine nonlinearities will have a significantly larger impact ...

Why human connection is the true metric of research success
Human‐centred mentorship can be shaped by mentor attributes, actions, intrinsic drive and career ambition. Drawing on reflections across Singapore and France, as well as workshop insights from FEBS‐IUBMB ENABLE 2024, this article shows that human‐centred mentorship creates the conditions for sustainable growth, well‐being and retention in research ...
