Slope approximation control method in the AC/AC converter control
Nineteenth Annual IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition, 2004. APEC '04., 2004Cosine-intersect method is adopted widely in the control of digital AC/AC converter, But for the sinusoidal current AC/AC converter, there are some defects in the cosine-intersect method. The slope approximation control method, as a new control method, which calculates and controls the load current directly, can improve the qualities of output current,

Evaluating the junction temperature of AC LEDs by DC and AC methods
SPIE Proceedings, 2011Alternating-current (AC) driven light-emitting diodes (LEDs) have become the trend of solid-state lighting (SSL) products. The junction temperature is an important index of LEDs reliability and efficiency. In other words, with proper thermal management of AC LEDs lighting products, the high performance of SSL products will be achieved.

A New Harmonic Analysis Method for AC/DC/AC Converters
2008 Workshop on Power Electronics and Intelligent Transportation System, 2008A new direct harmonic analysis approach for AC/DC/AC conversion system is presented and discussed. It uses the characteristic of the vectors and their sequence characteristic to obtain the voltage and current transfer rules of the converters in conversion system, and then get the direct harmonic analysis method of the whole AC/DC/AC.

Method and apparatus for AC electrospray
2016The present invention provides an electrospray device using a high frequency alternating current (AC) above 10 kHz to generate fine micron sized drops. The apparatus generally functions by applying a high frequency alternating current electric field across one or more micro-needles and one or more conducting elements.

Complete Bounding Method for AC Contingency Screening
IEEE Power Engineering Review, 1989The analysis of the effects of hundreds of outages on line flows and bus voltages is required for the real-time security analysis and contingency enumeration. This increases the demands on the speed, accuracy and adaptability of the solution methods.
