Rewiring Droplet Interface Synapses
Droplet interface synapses are used to create a neuromorphic network. Voltage pulses draw the droplets into contact and enable rewiring of the network through electrowetting. Bridging indigenous heritage and computation, this work introduces the usage of cauim, a traditional Amazonian cassava fermented beverage, as a programmable memristive‐like substrate and resistance switching. Scalable High‐Force Zipping Electrostatic Actuators
An electrostatic actuator architecture is presented that combines high energy density with forces and strokes suited for wearable soft robotics. By folding patterned thin films into a scalable honeycomb of zipping units, performance becomes tunable through series–parallel design, achieving over 40 N and 28 J/kg.
