Benign effects of logging on aerial insectivorous bats in Southeast Asia revealed by remote sensing technologies

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 60, Issue 7, Page 1210-1222, July 2023., 2023
Logged forests can provide an important refuge for many common bat species in Southeast Asia, but do not capture the full breadth of forest‐specialist species. Nevertheless, logged forests provide substantially better habitat for bats than tree plantations.

Inorganic Elements of Mangium Stem (Acacia mangium Willd) from Different Provenanc

open access: yesWood Research Journal, 2021
This study aimed to investigate the ash content and concentrations of inorganic elements present in the stem of Acacia mangium. The tree samples (24 years) were collected from five different provenances (Sidei, West of Morehead, Daintree, Ellerbeck, and El Arish). Meanwhile, the disc samples were obtained from the trunk of each tree on the lower parts.

AGGLOMERATION OF ACACIA MANGIUM BIOMASS

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Science and Technology, 2018
The aim of this study is to analyze the effects of temperature (T), moisture content (MC) and particle size (x) on Acacia mangium biomass and also to find the optimal conditions of the densification process for producing tablet with high density. The result shows that at constant pressure, increasing temperature (T) resulted in higher density of ...

Natural and Induced Polyploidy in Acacia dealbata Link. and Acacia mangium Willd. [PDF]

open access: yesAnnals of Botany, 2002
Seeds were obtained from seven natural populations of Acacia dealbata, three natural populations of A. mangium and a seed orchard of A. mangium, representing the natural range of the two species. Polyploids were discovered in two of the seven populations of A. dealbata. The 2C DNA amount for diploid A.
