Experimental Parasitology, 1958Abstract Starvation of the rat host for periods of 24 to 80 hours produces a decrease in the polysaccharide content and wet weight of male and female Moniliformis . Evidence was obtained for a normal diurnal fluctuation in polysaccharide content of the worms.
