Allelopathy plays a significant role in weed and crop interactions by influencing seed germination and early seedling development through the release of bioactive secondary metabolites. The present study evaluated the allelopathic potential of Acanthospermum hispidum L., a common agricultural weed, using laboratory bioassays.
