Comparative effectiveness of acaricides
The use of chemicals is the main method of controlling ectoparasites around the world. In Ukraine, due to the lack of an effective system for controlling ixodid ticks, there is an annual increase in the number of tick-borne diseases. Prevention of tick bites is largely based on the use of chemical repellents and acaricides.
