Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells
FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.

Testing Inference in Accelerated Failure Time Models
International Journal of Statistics and Probability, 2014 We address the issue of performing hypothesis testing in accelerated failure time models for non-censored and censored samples. The performances of the likelihood ratio test and a recently proposed test, the gradient test, are compared through simulation.

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Aging and Cancer, EarlyView.Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.
