Bond Strength of Direct and Indirect Bonded Brackets After Thermocycling [PDF]
Thermocycling simulates the temperature dynamics in the oral environment. With direct bonding, thermocycling reduces the bond strength of orthodontic adhesives to tooth structure.

Highly Biomimetic Ectodermal Epithelial Organoids for Epithelial Barrier Stimulation Assays
ABSTRACT Evaluating the potential toxicity of pharmaceuticals and biomaterials to ectodermal epithelia, such as the oral mucosa and skin, is indispensable in pre‐clinical assessments. However, this remains a challenge primarily owing to the lack of physiologically relevant and accurate screening models.

Lipid metabolic stress triggers ferroptosis in PDLSCs through the GSK3β/NRF2 pathway, thereby aggravating periodontal bone loss. Upregulated GSK3β promotes NRF2 ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation via β‐TrCP, suppressing NRF2 nuclear translocation and antioxidant target expression.

A temporally controlled drug release coating is developed for abutments using a superhydrophobic coating self‐assembled on mesoporous silica. This surface provides sequential functionality: initial contamination resistance through non‐wetting, followed by controlled drug release via wettability transition.

A comparison between a conventional optical method and image-analysis for measuring the unimpeded eruption rate of the rat mandibular incisor [PDF]
The impeded/unimpeded eruption rates of the rat incisor have been much studied. The most commonly used optical microscopic method, which has inherent weaknesses, was compared here with an image-analysis method to measure the eruption rate of the ...

Accelerated orthodontic treatment ‐ what's the evidence? [PDF]
AbstractThe demand and accessibility of orthodontic care has increased but has also been accompanied by patient requests for shorter treatment times. Longer orthodontic treatment increases the risk of decalcification, gingival recession, and root resorption and so shorter treatment times have multiple advantages as well as appealing to patient's ...

Abstract Background Precise control of corticotomy lines is critical in surgically facilitated orthodontic therapy. The Suya method is traditionally performed freehand, which introduces risks of root damage and procedural inconsistency. A digitally guided protocol may address these limitations by enhancing safety and technical predictability. Methods A
