Motivated by VLSI and systolic arrays this paper introduces a new kind of automata as language acceptors: systolic tree acceptors (STA). Like in a tree representing an arithmetical expression an operator or function symbol is associated with each (internal) node of the tree.

A Competitive n‐Type OECT Material via Copolymerization of Electron Deficient Building Blocks
The classical acceptor motifs diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) and thienopyrrolodione (TPD) are copolymerized to yield the acceptor–acceptor polymer “Poly(DPP‐TPD).” The fundamental design idea is to maximize the electron affinity (EA), thus increasing the ...

Donor‐Acceptor Cyclopropanes: Activation Enabled by a Single, Vinylogous Acceptor
AbstractA novel class of highly activated donor‐acceptor cyclopropanes bearing only a single, vinylogous acceptor is presented. These strained moieties readily undergo cycloadditions with aldehydes, ketones, thioketones, nitriles, naphth‐2‐ols and various other substrates to yield the corresponding carbo‐ and heterocycles.
