Controlling File Access with Types [PDF]
Accidental misuse of shared files by authorised users is a predominant problem. This paper proposes a well-known static analysis approach, namely a type system, to prevent such accidental misuse. We develop a type system that intercepts commands issued by users in a file system and enforces policies on each file.

The Role of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Ataxia‐Telangiectasia
ABSTRACT Background Ataxia‐telangiectasia (A‐T) is a DNA repair disorder characterized by neurodegeneration, immunodeficiency, and cancer predisposition. Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is an established therapy in related disorders such as Fanconi anemia (FA) and Nijmegen breakage syndrome (NBS), but its role in A‐T is unclear.

Towards Adaptive Access Control [PDF]
Access control systems are nowadays the first line of defence of modern IT systems. However, their effectiveness is often compromised by policy miscofigurations that can be exploited by insider threats. In this paper, we present an approach based on machine learning to refine attribute-based access control policies in order to reduce the risks of users

ABSTRACT Background Pediatric sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of tumors that contribute disproportionately to cancer mortality in children. Although congenital anomalies are among the strongest known risk factors for childhood cancer, the risk of specific sarcoma subtypes among affected individuals has not yet been thoroughly evaluated. Procedure We

Access control mechanisms for femtocells
[EN] Femtocells are a solution that helps to reduce the capital and operational expenditure of a mobile network while enhancing system coverage and capacity. However, the avoidance of interference is still an issue that needs to be addressed to successfully deploy a femtocell tier over existing macrocell networks.

Supporting Survivor‐Centered Care Through Digital Health Integration
ABSTRACT Survivors of childhood cancer face barriers to receiving guideline‐based, long‐term follow‐up care. Two digital tools, Passport for Care (PFC) and Cancer SurvivorLink (SurvivorLink), address complementary gaps by enabling tailored survivorship care plan (SCP) generation, updating, storage, and sharing.
