The prevalence rate of accessory breast in the axillary is 2–6%. Accessory breast needs to be removed, as there can be bulging locally and pain, which occurs rarely. Removal of accessory breast may eliminate the incidence of carcinoma and fibroadenoma, which occur in accessory breast.
